To balance the needs of residents, local businesses and other groups who require access to parking, Slough Borough Council issues a variety of permits for on and off street parking.
Applications for Resident, Business, Dispensation and Visitor permits must now be made using:
where an account can be set up and a virtual permit will be issued once your application is approved. It can take up to 24 hours for your permit application to be processed, once it has been received.
If you have a valid paper permit and visitor voucher (scratchcards), they can still be used and will be recognised, once they have expired you will need to renew your permits online.

If you live within any of the resident parking zones found in the list of zones you can apply for a residents parking permit. Please note any resident who resides in a new or existing development where limited or no parking is provided, would not be eligible for a residents parking permit within the zones listed above.
To apply online for a residents permit you must supply proof of residency and proof of vehicle ownership (the vehicle must be registered at the address your permit is for).

It is the permit holder’s responsibility to renew their permit. We will send you a renewal email at the beginning of the month to remind you your permit is due to expire and you must apply for a renewal. You will need to submit your details and proof of address and vehicle ownership documents.
If you live within any of the resident parking zones you can apply online for visitor parking vouchers for your visitor to park within the resident parking zone. Each property is given an allowance of 720 hours to purchase over a 12 month period. All vouchers are sold in slots of 5 (for example you would pay £2.50 and receive 5 x 3 hour vouchers):

If you are employed by or own a business within any of the resident parking zones you can apply for a business permit. A maximum of 1 permit is permitted per property and they are issued yearly at a cost of £300. When applying for a business permit you must supply proof of company residency, proof of vehicle ownership and proof of employment.
If you live within any of the resident parking zones and need a carer to visit you on a regular basis you can apply for a carer permit at the Parking Office. A maximum of one parking permit is permitted per property and they are issued yearly at a cost of £25. When applying for a carer permit you must supply proof of residency and proof that you are in need of or have a carer.
If you are carrying out utility or road works and need to park within a residential parking zone or on a single or double yellow line you can apply for a dispensation. When applying for a dispensation you must supply proof that you are carrying out works.
