To balance the needs of residents, local businesses and other groups who require access to parking, Slough Borough Council issues a variety of permits for on and off street parking.

If you live within any of the resident parking zones found in the list of zones document you can apply for a residents parking permit. Please note that any resident who resides in a new or existing development where limited or no parking is provided, would not be eligible for a residents parking permit within the zones listed above.
To apply for a residents permit you must supply proof of residency and proof of vehicle ownership (the vehicle must be registered at the address your permit is for):

Please note: a third resident’s permit is only issued in very exceptional circumstances and to be considered you must email: email@example.com or apply in writing to Parking Services, St Martins Place, 51 Bath Road, SL1 3UF.
We will send you a renewal letter at the beginning of the month that your permit is due to run out and also enclosed an application form. Please complete this form and return it to the parking shop, either in person or by post, to renew your permit. You must supply proof of address and vehicle ownership when renewing your permit and payment.
Cheques or postal orders should be made payable to Slough Borough Council.

If you live within any of the resident parking zones you can buy visitor parking permits at the Parking Shop for your visitors to use when they visit your property. All vouchers are sold in books of 5 except weekly vouchers that are sold separately:
If you are employed by or own a business within any of the resident parking zones below you can apply for a business permit. A maximum of 1 permit is permitted per property and they are issued yearly at a cost of £300. When applying for a business permit you must supply proof of company residency, proof of vehicle ownership and proof of employment.
If you live within any of the resident parking zones below and require a carer to visit you on a regular basis you can apply for a carers permit. A maximum of 1 parking permit is permitted per property and they are issued yearly at a cost of £25. When applying for a carers permit you must supply proof of residency and proof that you are in need of or have a carer.
If you are carrying out utility or road works and need to park within a residential parking zone or on a single or double yellow line you can apply for a dispensation. When applying for a dispensation you must supply proof that you are carrying out works.
