Making a difference in our town

The Slough Wellbeing Board is looking to recruit two new members from the business community to join their Board.

Are you interested in giving something back to your local community? Do you have an interest in improving the health and wellbeing of people in Slough? Can you provide a business perspective on the issues that matter most to our community?

The Slough Wellbeing Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction for health and wellbeing issues to improve outcomes for local people. The Board consists of senior representatives from the council, public health, police and fire service, voluntary and business sectors.

The Board is looking to recruit two new members from the business community to the Board – one from the corporate sector and one from small and medium-sized enterprises, who have:
• a willingness to help set the strategic direction for health and wellbeing related issues to improve people’s quality of life
• local knowledge to be able to represent and reflect the views of Slough’s business community
• a willingness to represent the Board at stakeholder and community events
• a belief in the Slough Wellbeing Board’s objectives and the passion and enthusiasm to contribute.

Councillor Natasa Pantelic, chair of the Slough Wellbeing Board, said: “The Slough Wellbeing
