Computers & the Internet

Anyone can use the computers in each of Slough’s libraries for up to two hours a day absolutely free. You just need your library card and PIN (please ask if you are not sure what this is). You do need to be a member of the library to use our computers. It's quick and easy, and you do not need proof of identity to join.

Want to save a computer to use when you come in? Book a computer in advance online

With your membership number and PIN, you can also access our Reference Library Online and be sure to have a look at our adult Learning resources, too.

Under 16s

Under 16s must have an internet use consent form signed by a parent or legal guardian and if you are under 8, a parent or guardian needs to be present whilst you are using the computer.

Colour and black and white printing is also available (see services and charges for details)

USB memory sticks

On all computers in Slough, Langley, Cippenham and Britwell libraries you can use your USB memory sticks.

At Wexham, Slough, Langley, Cippenham, Colnbrook and Britwell libraries you can use your own laptop or other web device to access the internet free of charge via Slough Libraries’ wifi - just connect!

Please use the internet responsibly – for some quick advice see Be safe on the internet

Want to use our e-resources in the library from a tablet for free? Why not borrow one of our hublets at The Curve? You can use it for 3 hours, using your library card and PIN. Access e-newspapers, stream films with Kanopy, look up your family history, e-learning and lots more.
