Public health doorstep survey

Slough Borough Council has commissioned M·E·L Research Ltd, an independent market research company, to carry out a doorstep survey on their behalf. The aim is to gather residents’ views to help support the provision of public health and reduce health inequalities.

A trained interviewer will be visiting homes throughout the summer and until September asking residents to complete a survey. They will carry an identification card which shows their name, photograph and M·E·L Research’s name and address.

The survey is accredited by the Market Research Society (MRS). You can contact them to confirm this via the MRS helpline on freephone 0800 975 9596. The interview will therefore be carried out according to the MRS Code of Conduct. Information that you provide will only be used for research purposes and will be held securely and strictly in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

If you have any queries, please contact Azim Khan at M·E·L Research on 0121 604 4664 or the council's public health team directly on 01753 875144. You can also email
