Community business advice service

Are you thinking about starting a business?

We have a community business adviser who can support you through:

  • 1:1 business advice
  • business plan development
  • guidance on Companies House and HMRC requirements
  • information on local business related network events
  • finance and cash flow

To further support you in starting your business we are launching StartUp Saturdays @ The Curve. This is a series of workshops designed to be an interactive way of helping you test, plan and launch your own business.

Previous business experience is not needed, though participants should have a business idea and be IT literate with basic experience in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel software.

Open advisory clinics are held right here at Slough Aspire twice a month, every other Thursday.

They are here to provide information, guidance, support, expertise, finance, knowledge and experience to help local businesses to scale up and grow.

Are you a small business wanting to know more about the finance options available to you? If yes, then please come along to the drop-in clinics held at Slough Aspire and speak with Tim.

Economic growth conference 2016

Over 120 people attended Slough Borough Council’s second annual economic growth conference and networking lunch on 15 March 2016. It was a great success as it highlighted the growth potential of its economy to key partners, stakeholders and businesses.
